Object Stories comes out of a participatory workshop with people who have received heart transplants at Papworth Hospital. Participants were invited to bring along an object that has personal meaning for them. The stories behind the objects were then narrated, firstly by another member of the group (LHS b/w), who tried to imagine the significance of the object, and then by the owner themselves (RHS, colour). This process echoes something of the relationship between donor and recipient in heart transplant.
Split screen video with customized dual mono headphones so each pair of stories can be heard individually or together, 10min 30s.
