The Fragility of Everyday Life

New (2024) edit of an experimental video based on the 'real-life' experiences of R, a young woman from the Piecing it Together project: www.piecingittogether.org, who has lived through periods of psychosis. Using landscape as a metaphor, images and sounds are collaged together to evoke something of the intense emotional and psychological states she has encountered. The on screen texts are edited from a poem written by R. For ethical reasons I was not permitted to name her, or to meet her outside the project, but thank you R for your amazing writing and interesting conversations.
