Still Looking For Answers

Still Looking For Answers is a single-screen video work co-created with four people of colour who have experienced Long Covid. It was made in relation to HiCove, a scientific study which aimed to understand what it is like for people from Black and ethnic minority backgrounds to experience Long Covid. Narratives edited from the personal accounts of the four participants are spoken by actors, Amina Zia, Miriam Barbooram; Elohor Pedro Knowles and Anurag Mehra. Imagery in the video such as a ceramic pot on a wheel repeatedly collapsing, feet walking uphill, barren landscapes and a shoreline was suggested by participants to represent their personal experiences.
